Seattle International Film Festival

Branding; Illustration; Motion

SIFF is a Seattle icon and one of the largest film festivals in the country. They also offer lectures, workshops, classes, and events for film lovers.

Challenge & Solve:

While their current branding is recognizable, SIFF is connective, eclectic, and stimulating; their brand should reflect their diverse international palette in a way that caters to all audiences while feeling like a cohesive brand family across all of their offerings. In this rebrand project, you will see the aforementioned in the assets below.

Logo.

SIFF’s new logo design subtly simulates a movie reel with smooth, flowing cords/lines. The solid background allows the logo to be applied to any asset without conflicting elements.

 Logo Variations

Four separate colors will be applied to the logo edifying the varying aspects of SIFF’s offerings.

SIFF’s visual tone is illuminant, linear, and layered. Every story has a beginning, middle, and end — our visuals draw cords from point to point, taking you on an immersive journey.
